About

UKIP is the grassroots, people’s party fighting for freedom, liberty, security and law and order across our United Kingdom.

17.4 Million people voted to LEAVE the European Union and take back control of our own destiny outside the undemocratic EU.

The most important historical, social and cultural relationships and bonds are are those we have here – with the rest of this nation. We are proud to be in this Union – our United Kingdom. UKIP remains the true party for our United Kingdom with elected representatives, members and hard working local activists here in Northern Ireland and in every corner of the UK.

In time, the UK will be able to improve upon our position as the 5th largest economy in the world by taking control of our finances and our destiny. We are now in a position to decide our future with the rest of the world.

On the 23rd of June, the people of the United Kingdom expressed their wish to leave the EU; it is up to Her Majesty’s Government to carry out that wish. We need to keep the pressure on the Government and its allies to deliver on what they have promised. Anything short of the full Exit we voted for in unacceptable.

Here in Northern Ireland and throughout the UK, UKIP is the party holding  the old, established parties to account. In this ever changing world, with the influx of uncontrolled migration, terror threats, shortage in front-line medical staff and hospital waiting lists – UKIP remains the people’s party, standing up for the interests of the people of Britain (and not special interests) first.

At Stormont, whilst chaos reigns and deadlines pass, UKIP will be the party locally calling for a root and branch reform of devolved Government. Legislative Devolution in its current guise of mandatory (forced) coalition has failed the people of Northern Ireland.  UKIP will be campaigning for a new model, based on openness, fairness and good-governance; not a two-headed carve-up that only serves to reward the self-serving practitioners of delay and disarray.

Our vision for the United Kingdom is a strong, Independent, outward looking nation – proud to be British and ready to do business with the rest of the world.

The Purple Army will continue to stand up for the people. The fight for freedom did not end on the 24th June 2017 – that was only the beginning.  Join us!
